| Hearts were filled with compassion as teachers, staff, students and parents worked together to raise money for the family of Kierra Smith. Kierra is a 7th grade student at Carver Edisto Middle School. She was diagnosed in the early fall with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A total of $6,507.57 were received from Carver-Edisto Middle School, Edisto Elementary School, and Hunter-Kinard Tyler Elementary to help Kierra's family during this time of illness.
Working together to help others within the community is what life is about. Character does count in Orangeburg Consolidated School District Four.
